I pulled in to HT Antiquity a few minutes early. A truck and trailer was parked in our normal spot. That threw me off. Luckily that did not deter Kumquat as he pulled in right behind me. We gathered our head lamps, checked our watches and decided at 5:31 it was just going to be us.
we departed for the Davidson Track. While going UP South Street we were reminded of how much we hate the warm up miles to the track.
Once we arrived at the track, we quickly discarded our head lamps and I realized the long sleeve shirt was a bad idea. Oh well. The plan was simple. Mona Fartlek. Baseline fitness test. 2x90sec, 2x60sec, 2x30sec and 2x15sec. Start at a 5K pace and increase effort as time gets shorter.
Conversation was great. KQ and I have similar 2023 goals. The run back was equally miserable and once again UP hill.
Im thankful for F3 and Corporate for not revoking my login when the website was created.
