PLAY BALL!

AO

In honor of Luther (the Dog's) snip-snip and his eventual departure from man-hood,  we played with a variety of balls today.  This is how it went down:

Slight mosey around the parking lot to the woods to pick up a CB.

THE FIRST BALL-Football

I, Limburger, started the fun by throwing the football up the right-side of the parking lot.  I belive it traveled a total of 16 yards.  Musta been a strong head-wind.  We Zamparini'd to it, then spelled out B.A.L.L.S by performing (Block swings, Arm Curls, Lower back Lat extensions, Low Flutter (with block overhead) and Squats. Don-Ho gave the football a ride next.  Think his toss may have beat mine by about 3 feet. More Zamparini…until we reached the football.  Then more B.A.L.L.S.  Burnt Endz threw it into the bushes (quick B.A.L.L.S) and finally Ditka (all the way from T.P.R) placed a nice wedge shot next to the bucket full of…you guessed it…more balls.

THE SECOND BALL-Whiffle ball toss

The "Defense" planked while a pitcher threw a whiffle ball to the batter.  Once contact was made (which didn't happen right away for most) the Pax had to perform 20 merkins whilst the batter ran the width of the parking lot and back.  If the batter got back before being tagged out, he wins.  Swede made a heck of a play on the ball while planking, but then gave up 7 outs by wiffing 21 times before making contact at the plate.  Code Blue drove one to Luther who helped to get him out, and Ditka was the only one to make contact on the first swing.  Lego and DonHo were lightning fast…even after their 2-man Standard run.

THE THIRD BALL-3-man Basketball weave

One of the reasons why Lake Forest is such an awesome AO is it has so much to offer.  I don't think anyone has used the Bball hoops in a workout before.  But 8 white guys performed the "braided weave"; while producing some laughs and embarrasing moments.  Hasselhoff threw down the Chocolate Thunder and Burnt Endz even made a layup I believe.  Good thing the hoop was set at 7 feet.

THE LAST BALL-Balls to the wall

It was a LONG 30 seconds…and if your arms/shoulders (AND LATS) weren't screaming by now…they will be tomorrow for sure.

Thanks for the good times gents.  Until we meet again….

Limburger…..hmmmmmpfft!
