Reflection: “First say to yourself what you would be; then do what you have to do.” ~ Epictetus

Plan your destination before you map out how to get there.  Most people miss the first step – define yourself who you would be. We don’t take time to clearly determine what we want in life and who we want to become.

Do you let the latest fad or trends determine what you want and who you want to become? Are you swayed, pulled in so many directions and lose who you are or what you’re trying to accomplish.

Do you let images you’re told to aspire to determine who you’re trying to be?

Discipline isn’t enough. It’s an equation that involves knowing what best deserves your focus, and then take actions to actually focus.

Block off your life into the different categories you want to improve.  Something along the lines of…

Family : Health : Wealth : Learning

Then, determine what best deserves your time within each area of your life.  How do you determine what to focus on?  Your end vision gives you the foundation of clarity needed to plan each area of your life and determine what best deserves your time.  Now, choosing the ‘best thing’ has to do with returns you get from it either in the present, near future, or further down the line.

Mole Skin:

  • Last time we did Block Burpees, I thought, “this would be fun as a ladder”.  Well, here it is.

  • Block Burpees are fantastic.

  • Cheetah was killing it this morning – great effort, every set

  • Lots of movie quotes mumble chatter along with 80’s sitcoms

  • Nothing overly complicated today, but effective

  • Shirley, if you’re reading this, don’t forget to email your book recommendation.

  • Hope everyone enjoyed the variety.

  • Thanks for the Q motivation to get in the gloom.

Respectfully Submitted,
