Reflection: Matthew 18: 1-5
At that time the disciples* approached Jesus and said, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.
Played at the park this week a lot with our 5 year old, she loves to do the sort of games we incorporated today. Kids getting ready to go back to school, lots of changes and stresses floating around with the new reality. Always a good reminder to see life and priorities through their eyes, the innocence, joy, and relinquishing control of what is going on around you. This verse from this week shined a light on that.
Moleskin:
-Dandelion once again out smarted me and on the ninja playground challenge mounted the equipment and climbed on top of the pull up bars and monkey bars, lots of squeaking and don’t think I will play on that again with my kids.
-Mysterion took the prize with the Ninja challenge and did not fall off once after two trials!
-Strudel pulled thru like a hauz nursing a shoulder and swinging from the monkey bars.
