Playing with other peoples kids

FNG1 is Jon Miller who was named "Grinch" by one of the kids he showed no mercy too. It seems that there is an existing "Grinch" in H-ville, but he hasn't posted since 2016 (possibly the same day he got the name?). Discuss on slack if this minor detail should be ignored or if we should startup namorama again.

FNG 2-12 were all 2.0's

Today was a last minute F3Dads and this Dad had no 2.0's available as they were all DR. As such the humble Q planned a F3 Dads with other people's 2.0's (I however don't drive a large black van with a "free candy" sign on it, fwiw).

Warmup: yes, we warmed up.

Thang 1: count off by 3's and proceed down to the pullup bar area, 1's start on pullup bars (5 pullups), 2's bear crawl the hill and 10 squats, 3's hit a low wall for 20 dips. Rotate through three times.

Thang 2: Move onto the baseball field and count off by 2's. 1's start at home base, 2's start at 3rd base running in opposite directions (like a human crash derby but with merican's). at your respective home base do 1 burpee, proceed to your 1st base and do 5 mericans then head back home, repeato up through the bases adding 5 merican's at each progressive base and hitting merican's at each base you pass on the way back. If it sounds confusing and slightly like a melee, that's cause it was. No kids were trampled, so all good.

Thang 3: KICKBALL! YHC was unable (or unwilling) to locate a whiffle ball for baseball, so it became kickball instead. 5 merican's by the outfield team for every run scored, 5 merican's for the kicking team for every out. FNG Jon earned his "Grinch" name by making an amazing play (something like a 5-4-3) to tag out a 6 year old girl. Other nominees for names were "Lady Killer", "Dream Crusher", etc… all good choices, but one of the tinier pax said "Grinch" and it was set.

Much mumblechatter was exchanged, no kids were injured by high slides into 2nd, etc… so it seems like it was a success.

Thanks Usain for the keys to The Glen.
