Pre-Anniversary Party at True Grit

A Pax of 2 got together for some shenanigans prior to the Isotope 5-yr Anniversary beatddown.  The parking lot had a lot going on with a handful of ruckers and others driving off in order to run back to the workout, but only 2 took their turn at True Grit.

Begin with a jog through the park until we found a good spot for COP.

  • IST x 15
  • CDD x 15
  • Side Lunges x 15
  • Diamond Merkins x 15
  • Windmill x 15
  • Wide Merkins x 15
  • Cotton Pickers x 15
  • 8-count Bodybuilders x 15

The Lurker:

Mosey over to the hill beside the baseball field, no not the small one in front.  Stop along the way to say hi to Possum as he scouts out the AO prior to the show at 0700.

  • 1 squat at bottom of hill, run up hill, hop fence to baseball field, 10 burpees
  • 2 squats, run, hop, 9 burpees, etc, etc.

Somewhere near round 6 or 7, take a break and say hello to Bogey as he is scouting out the area.

  • Finish up last few sets and head to parking lot.

Mary:

  • Low Flutter x 25
  • LBC x 25
  • Elbow plank 1 minute

Moleskin:

  • YHC hadn't originally planned on holding this workout due to the 5-yr anniversary convergence.  But, Etch called me out on Wednesday saying he was coming since he couldn't make the convergence at 0700.  I'm glad he did.
  • No hiding in a pax of 2.  Holding each other accountable.
