The morning began with a slow solo standard run around the Tanners Creek neighborhood. Came back to the AO around 0525 to find Jingle Bells eagerly awaiting to get the show on the road. Jaws and Tantrum eventually showed up out of the gloom and 98 Degrees and Snake Eyes rolled up shortly after.
We started our route by exiting towards April Mist and crossed over Beatties into Latta Springs, circling up in the pool parking lot for some warmup and the disclaimer. We continued our run through Latta, eventually crossing over Neck Road to Pamela and wrapped up by taking the "5 Miler" route back to the AO. All in we covering roughly 5k with a few stops of pain along the way. Finished out the last 5 minutes with some stretching in the bus lot.
Moleskin:
– Jingle Bells fell into a Q-guilt trip trap and Jaws quickly pounced on the HC.
– Snake Eyes volunteered for an open spots as well, so keep an eye on the Preblasts coming up in the next few weeks as Jingle, Snake Eyes and Jaws will be holding it down at Titan.
– I was debating on heading down to the Neck Road boat launch, but will save that for another Q.
– Prayers for comfort and strength went out for friends of 98 degrees who are dealing with the sudden loss of a loved one.
– It is always great getting out and pushing each other to be better versions of ourselves. I am very thankful for my f3 brothers and look forward to the next oportunity to lead.
Stay strong,
-Vandelay
