Warm-up
Short run cut even shorter because 2 additional Pax showed a few minutes past 7. Went back and got them in the parking lot.
The Thang
4 Corners Escalator
Corner 1 – 10 burpees
Corner 2 – 10 burpees, 20 merkins
Corner 3 – 10 burpees, 20 merkins, 30 squats
Corner 4 – 10 burpees, 20 merkins, 30 squats, 40 LBC's
Run to playground
5 sets of the following with a lap around the playground in between each:
10 pull-ups
15 derkins
15 dips
15 squats
Circle for a plank set called by Q and abs called by Pax. Vic20 – LBC, Double – low dolly (I think) Natty – windshield wipers, Grip – jacknife LBC's (in honor of Pinky)
Run to base of big hill by Arizona's house and perform the following:
1. Run up hill stopping at 8 mailboxes – alternate between 5 merkins and 5 CDD's at each mailbox. Jog back to bottom of hill.
2. Sprint to top of hill and jog back down
3. Backwards run to stop sign (half way up the hill), 20 jump squats, backwards run up the remainder of the hill
Run back to pool parking lot. Few laps around the parking lot to crack 3 miles for the workout.
Moleskin
- Natty gave the Pax a nice greeting upon arrival and we still went back and got him.
- Grip said he should have stayed in bed during Q's description of the first set.
- Natty looking forward to his concert tour and pounding down the 4 new homebrews he prepared
- Apparently the Riverbend pool is a popular tourist attraction and get's all kinds of looks from non-residents trying to get a piece of that action.
- Double and Vic20 put up a strong workout. Wasn't sure Vic20 was ever going to stop calling those LBC's.
- Could be a Grip sighting at the Overlook pool party today. He was lobbying hard to join us.
