On May 11th – the Queen City Honor Flight will take 100+ Veterans from Charlotte to Washington DC to tour various memorials and watch the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.
The Veterans on this Flight will include 20+ WWII Veterans, 20+ Korean War Veterans and 60+ Vietnam War Veterans from all over North and South Carolina.
You have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing day by being at Charlotte Douglas Airport on May 11th – to welcome home these Amercian Heroes. [Following last year's Honor Flight – more than 3,000 friends and family lined the D concourse to help give these men and women a fitting welcome home.]
Anyone can apply for a gate pass to gain access to the D Concourse. You must apply by May 8th. The flight is scheduled to land at 8:20pm Saturday Night.
