All right all right all right!!! The Outer Limits guys made it to another great workout this morning but they had NO IDEA their Q, Chicken Noodle, had eaten an ENTIRE rack of ribs the night before. Noodle showed up spouting massive regrets for bad decision making and he took out his pain on the pax. Not listed: Comen.
The workout began with the customary disclaimer and explanation of the workout to follow. While waiting for Barbarino to show (he is customarily late but today dissapointed us) we conducted:
SSH x 20 and stretches galore.
THE THANG
13 ribs. There were 13 ribs in Noodle's full rack and he decided to make the pax go through a pain station for each one of them! Each pain station was at a different location in Summer's Walk, with the pax putting out maximum effort and little to no rest in between. It was fast and furious.
Pain 1&2: Mercan x 10 and Monkey Humpers x 10, in ladder fashion, up and down Summer's Alley. Mosey.
Pain 3: Squats x 20 and Freddie Mercury x 20 in front of Swamp Thing's because he went cycling this morning. Mosey.
Pain 4: SSH x 50 with apologies to Comen's groin injury. Mosey.
Pain 5: Inclined Mercans x 10. Mosey
Pain 6: LBC x 40. Mosey down trail to Noodle's backyard.
Pain 7: Overhead press with pavers x 15, Creeper combo with pavers x 15. Mosey up the field to Helen Benson Blvd.
Pain 8: Bobby Hurley x 25. Mosey to Summer's Peak.
Pain 9: Mason Twist x 20. Slowing and speeding up cadence throughout. Mosey to Summer's Crossroads.
Pain 10: Squats x 20. Mosey to playground.
Pain 11: Pull-ups x 20 (with assist if needed).
Pain 12: Sprint to clubhouse and begin calf raises x 20.
Pain 13: Suuuuuuperman until the last second. Recover recover at 0615 exactly.
To end we shared together and prayed for Burgundy's mom, Noodle's family, and one more but this poor Q can't remember it. My belly is STILL full of ribs. #MOLGA!
