3 pax posted to Salsaritas on a snowy / rainy Tuesday to get their weekly taco fix.
Salsaritas was selected as the taco AO for its central location and the fact that it is situated in the Overstreet Mall, such that some pax can get there via skyways and other pedestrian corridors connecting the uptown buildings, thereby avoiding the snow / rain (although the snow had subsided by lunchtime).
YHC and Jaws arrived nearly simultaneously, just prior to the pb'd launch time of 1150. Omar was already in line, some 10 patrons ahead of us and, upon receiving his food, secured a large table that would have accommodated additional pax who never arrived.
TACOSKIN:
- Jaws and Omar both went with the 3-taco combo. YHC shamefully ordered a burrito. Couldn't resist. Salsarita burritos are pretty tasty. The three of us also took down a lot of Cholula in various flavors.
- Jaws is already looking ahead to his 40th bday a couple years from now and thinking he may want to jump on the marathon bandwagon to commemorate. Yes!!
- We discussed trail running at length. Omar has thoughts on how Fisher Farm can be improved.
- Hoodie teased YHC by suggesting he might show, but then no-showed. Banks seem to be keeping everyone locked up and depriving them of tacos lately. Free Hoodie! Free Roadie!
- Will need a Taco Q for next week. YHC has a work lunch scheduled for one of his colleagues who is departing.
