7 of LKN’s finest posted at the Estate this morning to enjoy America’s greatest pastime (sort of).
After a brief warmup, we moseyed a parking lot lap and were off to the track.
Once there the Pax saw a baseball tee with a ball and a bat on the practice field.
It went like this:
-Pax 1 would hit (attempt to hit) the ball across the field.
-Pax 2 would retrieve said ball (much like a dog as Toby pointed out but I assure you there were no belly rubs upon returning with the ball, that would just be weird)
The remaining Pax would perform the called exercise until the ball was back and then cycle through the stations.
-Once the inning was complete, we took a lap around the track (in various methods).
All the game progressed rules were added such as:
-Burpee penalties if you fail to hit it past the tire.
-Pax must hit left-handed (or right-handed if you are snake eyes)
*It was a great morning catching up and spending time with you men.
*Even though the heat /humidity was brutal we all knew others would be there to suffer with us. Sheild Lock
*Lots of open Q spots and opportunities to post. Get out there and spend time with others getting stronger and pushing each other. You never know who needs that time together and conversation/motivation. Your presence can make a difference.
*Enjoy your weekend and stay safe and hydrated. See you somewhere in the gloom soon.
Had to click on this to read it simply based on the title, and wow – the pax was actually hitting a baseball (or tennis ball or whatever it was – bet it wasn’t a whiffle ball though).
Great BB and love the creativity, Mulligan. Sorry I missed it.
