Our thoughts and prayers go Jen, Crab Legs and their family. TopGun is leading an event at 9:15 am tomorrow to help the family with lawn chores. Check out the website for details.
Our prayers also go out to Metallica and his family who lost his father this week.
Bagboy suggested that we perform the John Belushi during the warm up, so since I was wearing my College t-shirt I obliged. This is a jump lung with arm movement, which I created at MMM unbeknown to me during a simple jump lunge. I believe, Omega asked, “What is Stapler doing?” There was a lot of discussion by the PAX and I didn’t even know I was doing it. This is when Bagboy said, “He looks like John Belushi, when he was dressed as a cat burglar in Animal House when he was jumping around.” Hence the name.
There was a bit of confusion during rock around the clock, which resulted in a bit of a cluster. Clearly poor leadership on my part or poor listening comprehension of the PAX or a combination of both. Since there are no bad teams only bad leaders, this ones on me.
PAX ended up with new rocks, so some were happy and others were sad. Surprisingly, I was able to increase repetitions during the next grouping of exercises. As Bagboy and other PAX correctly pointed out, it likely had something to do with the size of my rock I ended up with during the transition. No complaints on my part.
During the next transition, I was not so lucky. Repetition were altered accodlingly. The PAX were clear to bring this to my attention.
Thank you to Magnus for being nice enough to switch rocks with me half way back and take my boulder, so I could get back. The momma of the PAX who picked this rock would be pround, but your were not very nice to your neighbor.
Thank you to Moses for leading Mary, while the PAX waited for me.
As always, a pleasure to work out with such a great bunch of men. Thank you Eeyore and thank you to all the PAX.
