4 arrived in the much warmer gloom than we’ve had in recent weeks. A balmy 46 degrees and thankfully the snow and ice was no longer, but the puddles were large and at times hidden in the darkness.
2 chose to ruck and a 3rd tossed his ruck to run with YHC when YHC arrived. “Flush” and YHC had begun a nice Tuesday routine of this in recent weeks while other fellas rucked it.
So another morning of 4.25 miles, all the way to the train track and back for I think the 3rd week in a row for us. Great getting to know Flush and about his family (Tuesday was his dad’s birthday and they had big lunch plans). It was not fun saying goodbye not knowing when YHC would be back for a weekday post in the future.
YHC is back in the ‘ville of the ‘tope and it feels strange to be home, but look forward to finding the routine again (and I’ve got 10-15 pounds to lose now!).
Aye.
