Run that Hill

Four men came out for some hill workout combined with a ladder of merkins and squats.  One of them did not read the pre-blast and was surprised to learn that there would be running involved.  All in all, the PAX logged ~3.5 miles.

Warmorama:

  • Side Straddle Hop – 30x IC
  • Cotton Pickers – 10x IC
  • Toy Soldier – 10x IC
  • Keeping the theme from Cobalt (Animal Kingdom), did Bat Wings – 20x IC arm circles forward, 20x IC arm circles backward, 20x IC seal claps, 20x IC overhead claps

Main Event:

  • Ran about 0.25 miles to bottom of hill in neighborhood
  • Up and down the hill, performing merkins at top and squats at the bottom (10-1, 9-2, 8-3, etc.). Ten reps in all
  • Indian run back to base 0.25 miles for Mary

Mary:

  • Peter Parker – 15x IC
  • Parket Peter – 15x IC
  • Spiderman Merkins – 5x single count on each leg
  • J-Lo – 15x IC
  • Jane Fonda – 15x IC on each side

Moleskin:

  • Slow Roll pushed the pace throughout the workout
  • Strong showing by Twister, even though he did not expect to run
  • Tigre looking forward to his time on a sailboat.  He will balance drinking with left and right arms in order to work his biceps evenly.  Not sure how the Palmetto training will work while on a sailboat.
  • Q was late with back blast due to minor mishap that landed him in the hospital.  Everything checked out OK, but a good lesson learned about listening to your body and drinking plenty of non-acoholic fluids.
  • It was a pleasure to lead the workout.
