7 of the fastest PAX ran it back old school one final time at #GAGA and paid homage to all of the previous MQs. Here is a random stream of conciousness.
GAGA is a special place for YHC. It was my first running workout. It's where I was named. Every PAX remembers where he was named, right? It's where we ran fast on Tuesday's to prep for MBM. It's where we put in the work for R2R2R. So as we look forward to the next chapter of Tuesday runs, I ask that you indulge my random musings and ramblings as opposed to a normal #bb
GAGA History:
- The initial Gaga was run on 6/15/16 w/ 22 PAX showing (22?!?!)
- Calypso had the Q and was the inagural MQ
- Gaga actually started as a Wednesday workout and and billed as not as much running as Half-Life but more running than Hollywood
- Lonestar was the winner of the inagural Gaga game in what appeared to be a heated 3 way contest between he, Dallas and Bagboy.
- 5/23/17: DonHo reinvorgorates Gaga as a Tuesday workout
- 5/8/18: YHC makes it 2 posts in a row and receives the name Hoodie after showing up in 65 degree weather wearing a running Hoodie.
- 9/18/18 PopTart takes the reins as MQ and unifies the 'GoatBusters' and 'We Goat This' crews with promises of options, low dew points and fast marathon times. He delivers on 2 of 3.
- 6/19/19: YHC takes the MQship and vows to #GoFastOnTuesday.
- 3/23/21: Gaga closes its doors for the last time in favor of FKT, starting 3/30/21

oh yea. we worked out today as well. In homage to the original MQ, Calypso, we did the exact same workout as was done on the inagural #GAGA. It was brutal. Read about it here
