Running of The General 45 at Westmoreland Speedway

May 19 is National NASCAR Day, my wife is from Wilkes County, and racing is back in North Wilkesboro. Therefore, it only seemed logical to honor NASCAR with the running of #TheGeneral 45 at Westmoreland Speedway. 15 Pax “qualified” and showed up with their engines ready to roll. Goblet Squats, LBC’s, ‘Mericans, Burpees, Low Flutter, More Curls, Apolo Ohno, 8 count burners, WW II’s, Skull Crushers, Overhead Press, Chest Press, Lying Skull Crushers, and Bent-over Row (to name a few).

When our “45” minutes were almost up, all Pax did a Zamperini with blocks into turn 3 to take them back to their home.

Race (mosey) back to Base/Winner’s Circle

-Recover, Recover/Checkered Flag Waived

Moleskin:

Today showed that all Pax are capable of Qing. You don’t have to be an expert. It’s about giving it your all and being with our F3 brothers in the gloom for quality mumble-chatter and fellowship. For those of you who haven’t Q’d in a while, or haven’t Q’d at all, you can do it and we’re here to help you. Go sign-up for an AO today and make it happen! Fast Pitch called Cadence like a champ. Cubicle doesn’t play when picking a rock-possibly the largest one he can find. All Pax were beasts today.

COT/Announcements/Prayer/Coffeteeria:

-Unspoken prayer requests among F3.

-Remember Pax who have aging parents who are struggling with caregiving and/or health issues.

-MQ’s need some Q’s for AO’s. Please consider signing up on the calendar. If you haven’t Q’d before, we will help Co-Q, so don’t be intimidated by it. You can do it! Just let us know and ask.

There will be Memorial Day Murph starting at 6am Jason’s Deli.
