Today we honored the outgoing Samson Master Q, Jedi, and the incoming Master Q, Limburger, by replaying some of Samson’s 2016 greatest hits (though neither were present due to schedule conflicts). There were plenty more painful and creative things done this year at Samson. Apologies, we only had 45 minutes so I had to pick and choose some of the best (i.e. worst).
Many creative and beastly PAX contributed to this workout. Heck, I’ve even stolen their descriptions from the Backblasts. #Ouch
Here’s the story.
0500: 3 for a speedy #RunStandard: 8-track and YHC left at 0500 and missed Snoopy who rolled in a couple of minutes later. Sorry Snoopy.
0530: Mosey around the lot, mixing in high knees, butt kickers, and Quadraphilia.

Ditka: Descending curb Mericans (7-Apr)

Descending Curb crawl – boo boo bear crawl (one legged bear crawl) there, 10 incline Mericans, lunge back, 9 incline Mericans, repeating until you get to 1 incline Merican
Pierogi: Painful animal walks (31-Mar)
Mosey up to the LFC front yard. Pepper angi for Noah's exotic animal ark loader; each done down and back between boulders:
- Horse Walk – Legs in squat position throughout
- Gorilla Crawl – If you could dip a bear crawl in sin and misery, you'd have this
Mosey to the forest.
Limburger: From his VQ (25-Feb)
- Traverse the Monkey Bars- one forward facing…one backward.
Note: Had there been a fallen tree, we would have moved it!
Grab Cindy, one for most but 2 non scrawny PAX were kind enough to grab 2.
Uncle Rico: Painful stuff (3-Mar)
- Take ONE step, Block-Squat-to-Press x 20 yards
- Burpee x 10
- Traveling Block Lunge-Twist x 20 yards
- Burpee x 10
Jedi: A round of the dreaded “Bone Mill” (7-Jan)

- Speaking of Frogger, prayers for a successful surgery. Snoopy's instructions today were clear: AT LEAST 3 months off brother. But still, we'll need to see you at 2nd F events buddy.
- Great work from Olive today. Don't think there were any BS calls…but I did hear some "Oh come on man" type comments.
- Great 2nd F with 8-track on #TheStandard. Hills are no match for this guy.
- Thank you to the non scrawny guys like Lawn Dart, Snoopy, and Hasselhoff who were kind enough to carry 2 blocks out of the forest. Lawn Dart was only slightly offended.
- Code Blue, sorry if I missed any mumble chatter! I suspect there wasn't much, you were simply working hard.
