Reflection: “Contrary to popular opinion, waiting is not sitting, sulking, seething, striving, and stressing. How to wait patiently involves an intentional choice to trust God with an outcome you can’t control.”

5 Things to Do When You Are in a Season of Waiting | All Pro Dad

Pulled from this week’s reflection from All Pro Dads- program NLMS runs pre covid but still get their daily emails. (Great reading by the way).  We are in a season of waiting during Advent for Christ coming into the world and also in all our lives as we wait to emerge from the pandemic.  Waiting does not need to be stressful nor anxious, but rather if we look back at previous obstacles we have overcome and the confidence God has a plan for us it becomes a bit clearer that “it’s all good”.

Moleskin:

-Strudel reveals he found a short cut through our yard to the nearby port a potty this past week.

-Anvil was kind enough to bring along his sandbag, sleeve tat is looking awesome too.  Nice insight about how they can be a reminder of a permanent change in life.  Also seems to know lots about the history of yoga pants.

-Dandelion compliments said tattoo by stating “at least it distracts me from looking at your face.” Hard to believe sometimes he is such a successful business owner and

-Salty throws the sandbag over his shoulder at end of workout and jogs to the parking lot.  Man is definitely turning into a firefighter!

-Cheetah ran in, took care of business, ate an orange and ran home.  Great to hear you are home more this month!
