Reflection: Is 9:6
“For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
We went to a living nativity down in Charlotte last night and it was a good reminder of the conditions and simplicity of the events surrounding the birth of Jesus. Try to find some time today to reflect on the significance of the event and maybe step outside to picture the serenity and peace of Christmas!
Moleskin:
Thank goodness Hefty and Mater showed up, not sure how I would have sad clowned with that tire! Saw some chatter about 0700 vs 0530 last night- maybe that was the reason for the low turnout?!
-Mater seemed to really dig the tire drag and challenged us to try the big hill next time!
-Hefty cheered us up by telling us we really did it to our core on that workout, safe travels up to DC!
Prayers for Finkle and Sparrow’s families.
