Moleskin:
– Lots of mumble chatter. Lots of comments and laughter. Some at the Qs expense for his lack of sleep and being able to count reps to call cadence. Feel free to pile on here fellas.
– Some guys felt like they were going to mess themselves during the work out. Late night with Ms and great fellowship. I think school bus actually did. That boy is not right.
– C # requested prayer for the Braun family who lost a loved one.
– Continued prayer for BJ, Khaleda and handsome Rob's return.
– Thank you for your continued support and allowing me to lead such a great group of guys.
Reflection
Had a chance to fellowship with other F3s and their Ms over the weekend. During a conversation with one, he mentioned about a personal struggle he was going through with work. He was talking about possibly branching out and doing his own thing. He spoke with his M about it and knowing it would potentially be tight, they decided to go for it. Since they have handed this situation over to God, he has opened many doors to his business and has started blessing them beyond measures.
Fast forward to the ride home… A song called "Live with Abandon" by the Newsboys starts to play. I am very familiar with it and will make the confession that I sing it in the truck when it comes on. With my kids of course. The question was posed in the car about the actual lyrics of the song. So, I looked up the full set of lyrics and read them out loud.
I wanna live with abandon
Give You all that I am
Every part of my heart Jesus
I place in Your hands
I wanna live with abandon
Once we confirmed the lyrics to the song, it stuck in the back of my head the rest of the drive home. The next morning, I heard it again on the radio on the way to our work out. I am starting to think this is a sign about how I should live my life. I should live my life with abandon. I should be giving all that I am and my heart more to God. God is good in so many ways. I appreciate the fellowship and witness that each of you bring to my life. May God bless you and your families.
