Showtime at the theater

At 5:02 Grape Ape and Dingo gave up on anyone joining them on a standard and we headed to the greenway.  The air felt a bit nippy as we started which was confirmed as we ran past the lake that was half frozen making the 33 degree reading in the jeep on the way over quite suspicious.  After mile 1 Grape Ape took a guess at our pace since he signed up for a slow mosey.  He guessed 9:30 which must have meant he found my company quite draining since we were really going 8:30 but I digress.  We made it back by 5:23 since we cut the standard a bit short and started seeing the rest of the PAX happily roll out of their cars into the gloom.  Two shady looking gentlemen walked up with what looked like serious weapons.  Turns out it was Magnus and DryRub with their reliable Kettle Bells.

5:30 on the nose we started the main Show
Mosey to theater parking lot, but kickers, high knees and some Carioca and then circle up
Disclaimer then in cadence 20 side straddle hops, 15 Imperial Storm Troopers, 10 Windmills, 10 Toy Soldiers, and 10 mountain climbers.  At this time I emphasized no standing around, when done with an exercise I wanted everyone to plank.
Mosey down the lot to the islands and set up a ladder with 3 island stops on each one and did the following
5 burpies each island
10 WWII situps each island
15 Carolina Dry Docks each island
The Q realized the shoulders needed a break so we did some arm circles before..20 merkins each island
25 little baby crunches each island
20 merkins each island

I believe there was a lot of sweat for a 33 degree morning.  The pax was generally quiet, working hard on the ladder.  There was definitely griping about the burpies as I unknowingly called for burpies in a burpie free zone.

I appreciate the push from the gents and the opportunity to lead.  Blindside came with Hippie but I cant find his name in the Pax.  Also, appreciate the clown car including Smash making an apperience.  Great AO and great group.  Happy Birthday Tiramisu, how old are you?

In the end I believe the singing bears typically put on a better show than what I did but since they were earily quiet in the morning hours the PAX had to deal with a barking Dingo instead.
