Slippery Circuits

Event Date

Dec 11, 2018

Five Davidson Faithful posted for a slippery AES, 5:15am Tuesday on the Green.

We ran, shuffled, lunged and slid over to campus to the Baker parking lot for warm up and thankfully no-one fell.  Lots of Respects in our group and we dont need any broken hips!  After warm-up, we did 12 burpees, ran to corner, 12 squat jumps IC, ran to pull-up bars, 12 pullups, ran to corner, 12 Merkins IC, ran back to starting point.  Repeated this circuit 4 times.  Then we did several Mary exercises, running back and forth in parking lot between each exercise. Then we headed back to the Green but not before stopping at snow covered Wall for merkins, derkins, and snow boulder shoulder presses.

Moleskin: Riptide had on shorts and no gloves at 28 degrees!  And a Jim Thome knit cap – maybe the only one in existence.  Genghis wondered out loud what weather/running conditions it would take to stop me from going to the pull-up bars behind Baker!  I did not have an answer.  Good to have a couple of young guys (Hates) with us – Swing State and Hulka – only thing that slowed them down was the ice!

Great small group today in less than ideal boot camp conditions.  Thanks for coming!

Don't forget Christmas party at Crude's house on Thursday night!
