8 men had a blast goofing around in the snow. 5-1/2" of snow overnight led to extra layers and boots. The angels were singing and blocks were heavier. It went a little bit like this.
First 3 to show up were decked in snow gear. Skipper comes running up in normal F3 attire; a couple layers thick, no doubt, but nothing like the snow pants and face masks that Vortex, Mulligan, and YHC were sportin'. One of them quips that they knew we'd be rolling around in the powder, and…well, they were right.
Warm Up:

YHC starts to do toy soldiers but the hammies remind me that we aren't warmed up yet…Omaha!

…and a rumble from the top of the hill interrupts us…we look and see a Polaris Razor flying down the hill, taking a wide turn into the AO, snow flying everywhere.
…what the….who could this be
Well, we know about Dandelion's penchant for motorized vehicles so we kinda know the answer.
As the snow settles, we realize there are 4 guys. It was almost like "The Right Stuff" slow mo' coming out of the snow dust…
1. Dandelion sporting the lime green like a boss
2. Gecko sporting a cowboy hat made from Budweiser labels
3. FNG 1 Davis (Dandelion's 2.0)
4. FNG 2 Larson (Dandelion's other 2.0)
Heh-heh…all of them smiling wide…we don't know exactly what is about to happen, but with these guys here, we know it's going to be fun.

Vortex had mentioned some 3" branches on the road near the AO. I could tell he knew it was important to clear out before others starting trekking out, so we go for a little joggy jog up to the spot. It was weird…like someone hauling some wood lost part of the load. Definitely a good call. Cleared the road.

Someone spots BigEasy shoveling snow. We decide to make a house call. BigEasy was clearing things out for his M, who was heading in early to work.

10 pull ups
Pull out 4 blocks, which have gained a little weight from the water/ice…return to the p.lot.
Set up the Snow Angel circuit:
1. hill run
2. 2 blocks setup to do 10x deep block merkins
3. 10x squats
4. 10x curls
5. 10 burpees
6. bear crawl up / crawl bear back
and Repeat…many times…I think most of us had 5-7 rounds.
Two particular memories of the circuit.
One, FNG Davis poses the question at the curl station: why are we doing these? "Curls for the girls" didn't seem to satisfy his curiosity. Next time through the circuit, he asks again, "Why do we do these?" Later, we name him Socrates for his deep probing questions.
Two, FNG Larson is done with the circuits at some point, as 2.0's are wont to do. We understand; no big deal. Then, we kinda giggle and think it's cute when he starts up the Razor for a few minutes and turns it off. Then again. ANd then, at some point, little man puts it in reverse and backs it up. He's like 7, so the guys that drove vehicles are a little nervous, and the rest of us are tentative and watching. Just idling around mostly; goosing the gas only a few times. Given his penchant for excitement, we later name him Ricky Bobby.
The circuit was no joke, and pretty much ran us to the end.
