So you are telling me there is a chance . . . of having a Backblast for Fireball. It's a running workout. . .nothing to get too exctied about. But if PAX in F3 Nation post for a workout and there is no backblast. . . did it actually happen? Well if it's a run Strava records it quite well. . . but anyways here you go.
11 PAX total for Monday's running of the #Fireball. 0500 – 4 for the 3 mile Standard. Launch Bailey Road Park, up to the under construction 2nd entrance of Bailey's Glen community and back. Same route every week that it truly is Standard. FNG-1 newly named F3-Tron (naming is a story on it's own) even though dealing with shin splints, made it to the Standard on;y and not the Thang – maybe a first?
THANG
0530 – 10 PAX for 4.99 mile segment consisting of an out and back loop with 471 feet of total elevation gain. Varied route consisting of downhill running, segment of greenway, rolling hills, neighborhoods and final climb at Bailey Springs. Paces from 9/min to 7:50/min were recorded. Temps were cold, 36-38 degrees, clear skies.
MOLESKIN
– Need to get Tron in the system for his 2nd offical Post. Maybe Roadie knows how to make this happen.
– Tron spoke about signing up for his first marathon next year. Way to step up and already have a great support network with Optimus and Garcia.
– Great winter marathon training kicking off. Weather was great, no extra gloves necessary
– Optimus and Garcia spoke about watching the NY Marathon on TV on Sunday. Nothing like taking the day off from running by watching others run.
– The Optimus project is tapering. Therefore Garcia only went for 10 miles.
– Mort and Primetime were doing Mort and Primetime things. In the zone and secretly training for the next big thing.
– Turnpike mentioned that he was certain the Fireball loop we were running was different then it was in the past. (can't make this stuff up)
– Davidson representing with Squiggy, Swamp Thing and Sandbox. YHC needs to visit a Davidson AO for a run soon
– Dallas could walk to Fireball and was the last to arrive. His Tesla zoomed in right before it was time to launch. Set your swift alarm to ring your phone / watch and alert your Tesla to autodrive you to the workout 5 mins early Dallas!
– YHC accidently PR'd this morning's running of the Fireball Loop. Don't tell coach Optimus.

Reflection this morning was focusing on the privledges and freedoms we have and to be grateful for these gifts as many are not so fortunate. Next week going to challenge the PAX to take a day off from negativity and critiscm only to look at the positive and help push others up and not bring them down.
