AO

6 pax emerged from the fog to suffer a "soggy Waffle" and all came out the other side — hopefully a little better for it.  An approximation of what we did:

Warm-O-Rama (all x10 IC):

SSH, Front-Straddle-Hop, Goose Step, Dwight Shrute, Windmill, Toy Soldier

The Thang:

On BMS Field, we lined up at the goal line, run 10 yards, do 10 squats, run back and to the 20 for 20 squats, then 30, 40, 50.  Followed by Mericans and Big Boy Situps (for the situps, 40/50 were modified to LBC).  A little mobility sprinkled in between sets.

Mosey to rock pile for rock selection and back to the sideline for a hodgepodge of rock exercises, including squats, rows, curls, presses, skull crushers, lunges…  Again, a little mobility sprinkled in here and there, along with multi-lingual 10 counts.

Finally, back to picnic area for some people's chair, plank, and pigeon.

Moleskine:

– Fine work by all in attendance, and a great way to jump into the new year.

– 100% participation for coffeeteria at Starbucks – Knockando Lane

– Moses led COT for me.  Pre-prayer, he talked a little about social/mental health and reaching out to your fellow pax to get them out – either exercising or for fellowship.  Also, he recited the following poem:

You can do as much as you think you can

But you'll never accomplish more.

If you're afraid of yourself Dear Friend,

There's little for you in store.

For failure comes from the inside first;

It's there if we only knew it.

And you can win though you face the worst

If you feel you're going to do it.

– Thanks Moses, and the rest of the Pax, let's get out and DO IT.
