Soggy ground, let’s stay on the sidewalks

As I was pondering the whole ‘Murph’ I really hoped for a group mutiny to switch to a conventional kettlebell workout. As 5:25 approached, the idea of a group went away, because it was just Kosar and I. I quickly pitched the idea out to Kosar, who was not buying it and as Senior PAX, took the lead (much appreciated). Kosar then asks,.”How many Murphs have you done?” which was answered, “None.” Kosar took control and with hesitation from myself, we eventually started the run. With more reluctance and a few, “I really don’t like to run” Kosar slowed the pace (much appreciated) and motivated me to work!!! After completing the first mile we stopped at the play ground for:

10 sets of 10 pullups, 10 sets of 10 (in cadence) Mericans, & 10 sets of 15 (in cadence) squats. Kosar completed all reps while, myself, I had to modify a few things, especially the pullups.

Onto the next mile run, which of course, myself, I only did half the run as Kosar pressed on.

Much appreciation for the push, motivation, and modifications by/from Kosar. He’s definitely a beast in the Gloom, but is also a great motivation and prime example. This PAX is grateful!!!
