5 men ventured forth into the desolate wasteland that houses the Pull-Up bars at The Blender.  That's when things got nasty!!!

Without a disclaimer or warm-a-rama, we grabbed our bells (except Soprano, who didn't bring his!), and set forth towards the pull-up bars.  Fortunately, there were extra bells!

Each of the following were followed by a 200 yard mosey…

  • 10 pull-ups
  • 10 pull-ups, 20 burpees
  • 10 pull-ups, 20 burpees, 30 mericans
  • 10 pull-ups, 20 burpees, 20 mericans, 40 shoulder press
  • 10 pull-ups, 20 burpees, 20 mericans, 40 shoulder press, 50 squats
  • 10 pull-ups, 20 burpees, 20 mericans, 40 shoulder press
  • 10 pull-ups, 10 burpees, 10 mericans
  • and we ran out of time!

That was a beast, but we now know who the real men of F3 LKN are!  OB even brought his 45 lb'er.

I have 2 workouts in a drawer at home, that were the most soul crushing for me over my 8 years in F3.  1 is a Soprano workout from BRP, back when he was REALLY angry…and this one from Bogey.  Bogey's drill instructor motivation was missed this morning (along with about 20 additional PAX!).  Bogey named it after one of his girlfriends, but i do not recall the name.  Sound off if you do.

Soprano informed me that i need to return this to the drawer, and never remove it again (maybe this should become a monthly challenge!??)
