Grab your water bottle we are going to run Trilogy for the next 45 minutes… April Fools!  If you know me, this was obviously not serious…

Line up at bottom parking lot line for Hill Sprints – Not April Fools.  To the tune of “Lose Yourself”

• Sprint to first line, walk back.
• Sprint to second line, walk back.
• Sprint to top line, walk back.

Circle up for – Squats (with a 180 jump squat) for each “Turn Down For What” during the song “Turn Down For What”.

Finish with a circuit, because circuits are awesome. Stations are:

• 30 seconds – Rope Slams
• 20 – Hip thrust
• 20 – LBC
• 30 – seconds plank (high or low)
• 30 – Squats
• 5/ea Leg – Step Ups
• 20 – Kettlebell Swing
• 20 – Slam ball
• 20 – block curls
• Run up steps, repeat.

Reflection

April Fools’ Day – origins are uncertain, but interesting that it is a day of lies. Saying something that is not true, followed by “just kidding” or “April Fools’”. I sought a related verse, and I found it, then that verse led to many more, so here we go:

We are born sinners. Psalm 58:3 says “The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies.”

You are a son of the devil. John 8:44 says “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your desires…”

God can change this for you. Romans 10:9-10 says “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

1 John 3:1 says “See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.”

I want all of you to know Jesus, so if you don’t know Jesus or are unsure about your relationship with Him, this reflection was for you.

Committing your life to Jesus is a personal and individual decision. No one can make this decision for you. I’m going to close out with a prayer of salvation. If you know Jesus, reflect on these words, and if you don’t know Jesus, consider repeating this prayer to yourself so that you can change that right now.

Jesus, right now, I ask you to become Lord of my life.
You are my Savior and I thank You for the sacrifice You made on the cross.
I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart.
Jesus, help me to live for You.
I want to know Your ways and love people as You love me.
I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
Thank You for Your mercy, hope, and unfailing love.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.

Moleskin

• Weather forecast was grim the night before.  Wasnt sure how many would show.  But I knew some would post rain or shine, and 6 other men defeated the fart sack today.
• I thought the workout was tough, not sure what everyone else thought, but it was quiet, so I think everyone was putting in the work.  
• Weather was actually perfect!  Thank you Lord for that! 
• Pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc… were enjoyed after.

Always a pleasure to lead.  Have missed it, you will see more C# Q’s soon.
