The Set-up

I definitely missed some folks.   My apologies.  McBeal, Rogue, Whamo and a couple of 2.0s were in attendance as well.

37 pax posted for the first Annual OuterLimits special Saturday edition in town.   Thanks to Tater for this marketing idea.

OuterLimits is a Tuesday bootcamp at the Summers Walk clubhouse out on the eastern edge of town…hence the name OuterLimits.   Some question if we're really Davidson, but as Swampthing pointed out once, we have the same red and black garbage cans as the rest of town.  Speaking of Swampthing, one of the founders of OuterLimits, where were you?

The Thang, in highly abridged form

Four Q's quickly dispersed the group to ensure proper distancing…Methane taking those that wanted a little more running and YHC leading a group desiring less.

Methane was assisted by Fairy Godfather…the theme was hills, hill, hills;  right in Methane's wheelhouse! (Take a look at local hill Strava segments if you don't believe me!).   Almost 4 miles was covered with hill repeats and pain stations around campus.  Time was spent on the track and stadium steps as well.   Word is that Moonlight was a beast! And all got their money's worth.

yHC's group was also led by Sparknut.  My intro of Sparknut included a reference to Ed  Ogeron…this fell flat as apparently our group did not include college football fans.  also got in a plug for Sparknut's business Christian Brothers Auto.   This group did paver work at DUMC, brutal quadraphilia hill repeats on Goodrum and Mary/ legs at the IB school.  Pirate Humpers in honor of Burgundy who's on IR.

All converged at the green for a distanced wrap up.  Commitments were made by all to journey out to SW on a Tuesday!  We're going to hold you to it!

COT:  3 pax in their 60s!, prayers for Burgundy's healing and Ghenghis's family going through an emotional move.   Fairy Godfather led reflection and prayer for societal peace and healing.  Happy Fathers Day to all!  Aye!
