Speed for Need, Inc. is off and running for 2018 and makes its first trip of this year to F3 LKN for the Christina Latini Memorial 8K! Now we are called to race with Avaline as we remember and honor Christina (F3 Sweet Tooth). This will not only be the kickoff for Speed for Need, Inc. in F3 LKN but also the inaugural race for Operation Sweet Tooth. We need YOU to step up to help push Avaline in the Speed for Need, Inc. racing chairs to help them cross the finish line at the Christina Latinin Memorial 8K. That is where the men of F3 LKN and Speed for Need, Inc. step in.
Operation Sweet Tooth is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization created in memory for the life of Christina Marie Latini. Christina unexpectedly passed away on May 6, 2016 and she was only 8 years old. To honor her memory, the mission of Operation Sweet Tooth is to keep her spirit alive by providing hope and joy to children who may be sick, less fortunate, homeless, or just need to have their spirits lifted. The goal is to provide toys, gifts and items of need through various fundraising efforts in hope that we can have of positive impact and experience on their lives.
The mission of Speed for Need, Inc. is to raise awareness and foster inclusion of those with special needs through participation in fitness events supported by the men of F3 Nation. Simply put, our goal is to help people get to the Finish Line and finish the race… their race.
We do this by mobilizing High Impact Men (HIM) in F3Nation in responsibly pushing these loved ones in specialized racing chairs to create an experience impossible by themselves due to their limitations. In doing so, Speed for Need, Inc, exists for the enjoyment of the athlete-rider and their families, to raise awareness and financial support for local charities and partners, and to increase the visibility of F3Nation in our communities for the purpose of invigorating all men, and sparking a call to action.
