I was actually expecting a smaller crowd since Fission was going to host a ruck this morning. However, we had a larger group than normal with 16 men venturing out for a warm morning stroll.
Couldn't find Poo on the list here but he was there.
Mosey to the Theater for some warmarama. 20 SSH, 15 cotton pickers, 15 imperial storm troopers and 10 slow windmills.
We stuck close to home in Birkdale just going up and down some streets but still managed to get some pain stations in with a 5K. First stop: 10 merkins, 20 LBCs, 2nd stop 10 incline merkins, 20 Rosalitas; 3rd stop, 10 wide merkins and 20 low flutters; Last stop 10 Carolina drydocks and 20 LBCs.
This was a VERY fast group with a lot of sub 8 minute mile runners. And somehow we still finished a minute (or two) late. Usually we have coffee after Java but these guys were running like they had some before!
As usual the Q had to repeat instructions with a lot of mumble chatter (usually Frogger).
Glad some of us brought our headlamps out when we only needed them for the first ten minutes.
