The Moleskine:
- Spiro Agnew was the 39th Vice President of the United States. The second most powerful man in the free world, under the then president Richard "Dick" Nixon. Elected to his second VP term in 1972 but then removed due to corruption charges. Abandoned and disgraced, Spiro was replaced by Gerald Ford. What goes around comes around, as President Nixon was impeached and removed himself. The little known and fabricated for humor facts about Spiro Agnew are that he was an avid Canasta player and the rumored inventor of Cross-Fit, with its cyclic spiraling "Workout of the Day". - Good sweat today and even better conversation. Many of the PAX experienced the "baby bird leaving the nest" with kids leaving for college. This experience turned into reflection on the amazing opportunities available to our children. Parents gear their upbringing to create these specific opportunities. Many families do not see the same importance, possibly because of economics or lack of priority, though. Why? Maybe we need to continue the conversation at the next workout! Deep, deep topics, indeed!
- Always an honor to lead a great group of men!
