Sprinting workout with a flying disc


Long time time since a Q, so kept if fairly simple. Great turnout and some good mumble chatter throughout. FNG’s listed are Big Time, Faceplant, NitroPit, 33, The Ultimate.

To kick things off we moseyed over to the track for some warmup.

 

Warmorama:
SSH x 20 IC
Windmills x15 IC
IST x 15 IC
Toy Soldiers x 15 IC
Beet Farmer x 15 IC
Arm Circles x 15 IC
 
After warmup, we jumped right into things with the following:
 
The Thang:
Mericans x 10 IC
WWII’s x 20
Mountain Climbers x 10 IC
Form two lines on the track for an Indian run (one lap), circle back up at the corner of the track and repeato the above followed by the Indian run 2X. On the last Indian run, we did two laps instead of one.
 
Leave the track and head over to grab blocks. Circle up with the blocks in the fenced in areas for:
 
Curls x 10 IC
Overhead press x 10 IC
Skull Crusher x 10 IC
Squats with blocks x 10 IC
Mericans with one hand on block x 5 IC
Switch hands x 5 IC
Low curl x 10 IC
High curl x 10 IC
 
Return the blocks
 
About 20 minutes left in the workout we split into two teams and finished out with some Ultimate Frisbee.
 
Great time as always and very thankful for f3 and the encouragement each one of you give by just showing up consistently and making this a thing. Glad to lead the group and I’ll make sure to get more creative next time!
