It was colder than anyone expected this morning, so we had to double up on gloves. As Q had been out for several weeks, focused on the High School swim season, he came with a workout that would fit all levels. The Starfish AMRAP fit the bill. Overall, we ended up doing just over 3 miles and 500 merkins, 100 curls, 90 LBCs, 90 squats, and 90 dips.

Moleskin:
- Initially, it was just going to be Slow Roll and Q, but Surf & Turf rolled up last minute. Thank goodness he carries his 40 lb sand bag in his truck, since Q had only brought two blocks expecting just Slow Roll to show up.
- Having just wrapped up high school swim season, there was a lot of talk about swimming and the thought of retiring and being a full time coach.
- Surf and Slow talked about how they need to sneak out to get a workout before their young kids are up. Q said that his wife and daughter would likely still be sleeping after workout. My wife had just gotten up and it is 9:00 and my daughter is still sleeping…
- Some deep conversation about second thoughts in life and about my mom being in the hospital. This is where the fellowship and faith tie in well with the fitness.
It was great to come out. Great morning to get a workout and hang out with Surf and Slow. Thank you!
