The run started promptly at 0538. Even still, PT wasn’t there. Luckily, 8-track waited for him since they didn’t want to do the same route, distance, or pace.
So 5 of us set off. Absolutely nobody complained that we weren’t doing the normal Fireball route. 3 got a fast start. 2 caught up at the intersection of Bailey Road and the greenway near Oakhurst.
Cousin Eddie loved the hills and distance, especially since he did 10 miles at 0515 the day before.
Dallas regaled us with stories of Ultras and Germany. And he was flabbergasted to find a mysterious, unknown-to-him hill about 20 houses away from him in his own neighborhood.
