It was a little windy which brought the slightest chill to the gloom air as noted by the 9 Pax who gathered at the Brickyard today. We were also joined by Chris who was EH'd by Chief a day earlier. Chief, Lear, Deep End, Brushless and Dory met the #standard.
Warm-o-rama
Loop around to the back of Track Scan building and circle up:
SSH X 20, IST x 15, Merkins x 10, Mtn climbers x 15 and Windmills x 15. All in cadence.
Run to back of the lot and pick up pavers. Mosey with pavers overhead to incline at opposite end of lot.
10 Thrusters with pavers
Backwards up hill
Run back down
10 thrusters
Run to grass hill
10 mary catherines
Bear crawl up hill
Run back down
10 mary catherines
run to side paved hill
10 squat jumps
Lunge walk up hill
run back down
10 jump squats
Run to concrete entrance ramp at front of building
Burpee broad jump across the ramp
Run around to stairs and hop up concrete stairs
Then run around back to pavers
Repeat the loop 4 times and decrease reps (10-8-6-4-2) of each move per lap.
This was all preceeded by a demonstration lap of 5 reps per move.
Block assisted Mary
Curls, LBCs, Low flutter with block press, standing shoulder press. All in cadence.
Moleskin
As Chief pointed out, today was leg day.
All Pax showed strong fortitude as this was a grinder that took just about the whole time to complete. Though I wouldn't expect anything less from this group.
The burpee broad jumps in the middle of each loop were not easy.
