10 Pax “Stretched for Stray” today at Stretch Armstrong as he preps for knee surgery. Here’s what went down:

The Thang:

-Warmarama with 4 stretches (5 min)

-We did a series of two stretches followed by a set of WWII’s for 40 minutes of fun. We did a total of 130 WWII’s (no complaints were voiced about this during mumble-chatter).

-Recover, Recover

Moleskin:

All Pax stretched and worked their core today to get Stray prepped for surgery.  It was good to see Peart Plus again today who’s been out for a few weeks. Oh, and Frogger wants a “lawn mower” for Christmas.

We ended today by reflecting again on Genesis 16:13 regarding the God who sees. Remember, when we’re lost (or feel lost), God is still there with us if we lean on his strength and understanding versus trying to take on the world alone or plow our own path. You also have brothers around you every morning too who would love to lend an ear or be a source of support. You are not alone.

CoT/Prayer Requests:

-Stray’s surgery is on 11/28 so lift him up on Tuesday in COT. He is also seeking new employment at end of the year so hit him up if you have some leads.

-Remember Pax and family members who are traveling during the holiday weekend.

-Remember Ultraman’s parents who will have their first Thanksgiving is separate living arrangements. Also remember Ultraman’s daughter’s who is recovering from a recent surgery.

-Lift up all Pax who are caregiving for aging parents and the various health issues among them.

-Lift up unspoken requests in all F3 circles.

Announcements:

-There will be a Black Friday convergence at North Meck Park led by Firestone.

-Begin thinking about donating to Operation Sweet Tooth’s Christmas present/toy drive when shopping.

-Christmas party on 12/1 at 7:30pm at 760 Craftworks in downtown Huntersville.

-There are plenty of Q slots at all AO’s. Please sign up. For new Pax, volunteer to lead/Q (we’ll help you co-Q). For you seasoned guys, sign up for some Q’s.

-Invite a FNG or brother you haven’t seen in a while who’s a Kotter. Invite that #just1 who needs you more than you know (an invitation is a powerful thing brothers). If none of those work for you, just show up. No one will be left behind, but it all starts with the discipline to take one.
