                First AO:  DUMC

Mosey to DUMC, get a paver, circle up.

                Second AO: to the old school

Mosey to school.  PAX surprised to find seven cones set up on the lower field, in the dark.  Good headlamp game tonight helped, especially The Hangover’s airport-quality floodlight.  Six cones are set up in a symmetrical formation at the south end of the field, and one cone set up in the middle at the north end of the field.  PAX charged with doing five pushups at each of first three cones at the south end (with a bear crawl and side slide in-between), then sprinting to the north end cone, Tyreek Hill style, and doing five pushups at the top.  Jog to remaining three cones for five pushups at each cone, with a side slide and crawl-bear in-between.  That’s 35 pushups. 

Repeato.  Repeato.  That’s 105 pushups total for this AO.

Fun fact:  That 44-yard Mahomes completion to Tyreek Hill in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl was Mahomes’ longest throw of the season in the air – it covered 57 yards as the tomahawk flies!

Hold my beer moment:  YHC would reveal at 2nd F that the cone-figuration was not random.  The PAX ran their workout in a nice, tidy ARROWHEAD design, as shown on his Strava.  

                Third AO:  to the Davidson Track

Mosey to track.  Time running short but enough for one set of YHC’s 7-part Storm the Castle routine:

  1. Sit on wall (15 seconds)
  2. Air presses x15 IC
  3. BTW (15 seconds)
  4. Aussie MC’s x15 IC
  5. Bear crawl across track.
  6. Storm the castle, run up stadium to top.
  7. Squats at top x15

Why 15 of everything?  Nobody knew – that 15 is the MVP Mahomes’ number!

Indian Chiefs run back to The Green. YHC gave the tomahawk chop song while running to the front.

About two minutes remaining.  Poll taken at launchpad: Shakira or J-Lo?  Shakira had the votes by a slim margin, so of course we worked on our abs with LBCs ICx50 (it has been 50 years since the Chiefs won a Super Bowl). YHC mistakenly said “Super Bowl 50” instead of referring to the Chiefs’ drought, was corrected – this was Super Bowl LIV, so we added J-Lo’s x4 IC until the bell.  Good thing J-Lo had not won the poll because 50 J-Lo’s would not have been fun.

The Q tasked the Eagles fans Grouch & Stalker with counting our pushups, and they tallied a total of 187.  The Q wanted to get to 222 to honor Andy Reid’s 222nd palindromic victory on 02-02-2020, but the shoulders were not in good merkin shape after an unexpectedly good January for running. 

Prayers for Rogue’s grandfather / Nero’s father, who took a fall recently.
