Thanks to TopGun for letting me run in the wilderness today.  There was lots of running.  As Blackbeard pulled in at 5:10:30 we were ready to take off and did as soon as his feet hit the ground.  We ran around the corner and down a hill and warmed up with arm circles, side straddle hop, windmills, and imperial storm troppers.  After 5 burpies it was time to partner up and hear what was in store.  AMRAP one partner ran about 75 yards up a hill and back while other partner did exercises.  we did merkins, carolina dry docks, squats, dips, and WIII. Then 4 burpies and we turned around and did the same reps but running up the other side of the hill (many hills on Hugh Torrence Parkway).  After that we ran back to the parking lot and did the same thing with a flat run which was nice, the idea recieved lots of compliments from the PAX who were thrilled.  After that there was not enough time but we did some low flutter anyway and then the beautiful sound of 'recover recover' was heard and the rejoicing began.  Great time with a great group of guys today,  I need to get out in the Wilderness more and plan to do so soon!
