Swordnado

FNG-1 = Paunch; FNG-2 = Good News; FNG-3 = Sturgis

Some time ago, Enron asked YHC to take a Q at The Sword. Then last week, Enron puts out there "We haven't done a Sharknado in a while". Okay – I get the hint. Sharknado it is! No warm-up, time to get right into it

Sharknado

  • 15 Burpees
  • Run a lap
  • 20 Diamond Merkins
  • Run a lap
  • 20 WWII Sit Ups
  • Run a lap
  • 20 merkins
  • Run a lap
  • 20 Scorpion Dry docks

YHC and Mr. Holland completed 4 rounds, the pax were at various stages when we called it a few minutes early for Mary. Nobody complained about that part!

Mary

  • Makhtar N'Diaye x 10 IC (Frontier
  • Hip Dips x 9 IC each side (The Force)
  • IST x 15 IC (Toby)
  • Low flutter x 15 IC (Enron)
  • Low Dolly x 15 IC (Sturgis)
  • SSH x 10 IC (Paunch)

Recover. Recover.

Moleskine

  • It was humid AF and while we all prayed for rain, it only started when we were doing COT. Sky Q was unforgiving today.
  • Two HPD officers joined us today (Paunch and newly named Sturgis). They came out strong and put in the work – hope to see these guys keep coming out.
  • FNG Craig enjoyed his second post today doing arguably one of the hardest WIBs in the region. He was nicknamed Sturgis due to his love of riding Harleys.
  • Toby did his 2nd Sharknado in less than 7 days. He must really love Sharknados.
  • Good News was a good sport about the Sharknado. He didn't say he hated it, but I don't remember him saying he loved it either.
  • Mr. Holland completed a ~2 mile standard beforehand because he enjoys pain.
  • Popcorn may have done diamond merkins 3 times in a row. Next time we'll write it down in chalk for you.
  • No GBs, no Swing State, no Scrappy, no Qbert. While they were missed, we admittedly were okay with no one pushing pace.

Thanks to those who came out today (especially the ones who knew what was coming). Sharknado should be ran more often as it is a great test of fitness. Speaking of tests of fitness, join the Iron Pax Challenge. https://f3greenwood.com/ironpax-form/ironpax-challenge-2021-registration-form/

Even if you don't register, I guarantee you will do at least one of the workouts. It is inescapable and inevitable. Until then – CB
