With the Monday holiday, Tuesday came quickly this week, and YHC did not have a plan for #TacoTuesday. After some quick consultation with Ramrod and SweetC, we decided on Vida Vida uptown.
YHC arrived a few minutes early, and was followed shortly by Clubber, Roadie, and Ramrod. YHC ordered some chips/salsa to share, and before long the pax were tearing into them and chatting about BRR, Basin Run, beards, bootcamps, and various other topics starting with the letter "B". In rolled Twister and Wegmans, followed by El Chapo, and then finally Swing State.
Other comments/observations:
- No $2 tacos at Vida Vida (and, in fact, as Moby Dick discovered on a previous visit, the taco of the day can set you back as much as $6). But the food was delicious, service was speedy, and the pax were able to scoot out in time for their 1pm meetings. Not only that, but the staff on hand noted that YHC and others were regulars, and accordingly sent a large tray of chips and salsa to the table. Thanks, Vida Vida! It pays to be regulars….
- YHC, Ramrod, Clubber, and others gave Wegmans (Fort Mill) and Twister (Mountain Island Lake) the hard sell on Basin Run. Surely we can get a couple teams together from those areas. Should be a fun event. Give any of us a holler if you have questions about it.
- Great to have Clubber back after a several week hiatus. Also great to have El Chapo and Swing State join us. Good luck in the BRR, fellas!
