Jealous of the taco cravings to the south, 9 pax overcame the need to sadclown a brown bagged lunch at their cube and set out to their most favorite taqueria in the 'ville for some quality 2ndF and TACOS…well except for those that had chimichangas.
Home course this week with La Unica. Never been there on a Tuesday for lunch but the Don Ho's are there just about every Friday for dinner so nothing new here. Chips and salsa are always free and bottomless & apparently they will sell you miller lite on a Tuesday at 11:45 AM if you only use the middle two buttons on your shirt. Everyone else was all water and diet coke.
Honored to have the resident F3 firemen in the house especially because they drove right past the uptown Taco Tuesday just to eat with us or was it just because we were at La Unica? Either way we'll take it.
Lots of marathon & running talk but let's get to the grub because Turncoat and Ramrod tell me reviews are a requirement…

Overall…9…Love La Unica or as my 3 year old has always called it….'Merica (shes a little confused but the sentiment is there…it's because it's awesome). Food is on point, quick service, and always free chips and salsa.
