Tax day at Arnie’s

One (Auto) for the Standard. Given the consistent bit of rain we’ve had for the last 147 days, I did a quick modify to skip the monkey and pull-up bars area.  That area is just too saturated.

Today is April 15th. Better known as tax day here in the US. For what it’s worth, today is also my nephew’s birthday. Good news though for those of you that like to test the limits; your odds of being audited are the lowest now they’ve ever been. So…give it a shot. What’s the worst that could happen?

Disclaimer provided.

Warmup

  • SSH x25
  • Imperial Storm Troopers x 10
  • Windmill x10
  • Carrot Pullers x10
  • Slow Merkins x10

The Thang

This is Arnie’s Army. We pay homage to the bridge, therefore…mosey to the bridge

  • 10 Over & Backs
  • Bridge Plank with bear crawls, as many times as it took to get to the end
  • 10 Over & Backs
  • Mosey back to the clubhouse, but on the way we stopped in front of Schneider’s house, put our heels to the curb across the street and dropped for 43 silent `merkins. (43 was Dave’s age.)
    • I miss you my friend. We all miss you brother. I want to pay closer attention to my fellow brothers (and everyone else too) and improve my ability to detect when something doesn’t seem right but I don’t exactly know how.

      continue the mosey

  • Dips at the picnic benches
  • Step-Ups x 10
  • Out to the parking lot, partner up for:
    • P1 runs a lap, P2 does jump squats until P1 returns, then swap and continue until the count reaches 200
    • P1 runs a lap, P2 does Mohammad Alis until P1 returns, then swap and continue until the count reaches 300
    • P1 runs a lap, P2 does curb dips until P1 returns, then swap for one lap each.

Mary

  • Freddy Mercury x20
  • Little Baby Crunch x15
  • Pretzel Crunch x10
  • Homer to Marge x3(ish?)
  • Pickle Pounder x15

Moleskin

  • Newton-Meter (my 2.0) joined us today. It was great to see him for a F3 workout. He looked strong! He even ran home rather than ride with his old man. In August he heads to NC State to begin the next phase of his education. He’ll be joining the College of Engineering and we expect he will ultimately choose Electrical Engineering as his major. This of course pleases dad a lot as I’ve always wanted to learn how to use an oscilloscope. Now I have a reason to buy one.  😀
  • Thanks to Auto for allowing me to Q my home AO. It’s always a pleasure to lead in any way that I can.

Age Stats for Nerds

  • Mean: 40.6 (average of the recorded ages)
  • Median: 44 (age in the middle of those recorded)
  • Mode: 40 (age that occurred the most)
  • Max: 51 (highest age)
  • Min: 17 (lowest age)
  • Count: 10 (count of pax)
  • Standard Deviation: 10.49021 (square root of the average “distance” each age had from the mean)
  • Kurtosis: 2.05927 (indicates how “tailed” the data, i.e., are there outliers)
  • Skewness: -1.55312 (describes the asymmetry of the data with respect to the mean, i.e., are we leaning left or right in a normal distribution. for about 3/4 of my qs, the skew leans negative, which is not surprising given the likelihood of more guys in their upper 40s/low 50s coupled with 2-3 pax in their 30s.)
