- Bunyan loved that the second exercise was pull-ups. An effective way to cut the mumblechatter out.
- Given the number of pax, YHC had to adjust the beatdown. Ideally, there would have been enough blocks for everyone to farmer's carry after each round. May have to visit Richard Barry Park and appropriate some blocks *bandit*
- I take it as a high compliment when Auto said he felt that good kind of dizzy after the swings to curls to pull ups. If you're not feeling a little dizzy at some point during a workout, you're not working hard enough. Strong work!
- Last week DonHo, myself, and Cousin Eddie had a conversation at Dragon Slayer regarding the intensity of beatdowns/AOs. It brought back thoughts of the Iron Pax Challenge. Those workouts absolutely sucked, but the sense of achievement after completing them far outweighed the pain. Not all workouts need to be IPC-level, but we should be striving for something that's pretty close. So tclaps to DonHo for inspiring me to come up with this workout.
Thanks to Bunyan for the opportunity to lead and thanks to all pax that came out this morning. Until next time – CB
