FNG-1 and 2 – Tantrum's 2.0's Guy Smiley and Faceplant
What started out 3 years ago as busting YHC chops over a reason to not post, has turned into a yearly anticipated gathering.
Blackbeard was sure to communicate with YHC to secure a date for the 3rd annual Cookie Q back at the beginning of October.
Backstory
Growing up my mom would always bake a bunch of cookies for neighbors and friends every Christmas. After the M and I moved down here and got our first house I decided to start doing the same. I had my mom write down her recipes in a notebook for me to use. I make eight different kinds – chocolate crinkles, peanut butter blossoms, chocolate truffles, peanut butter balls, magic cookie bars, spice cake balls, cherry, and chocolate peanut butter thumbprints, and put six of each on a platter for each person I deliver to. Over the years the numbers have grown. What started out with about 20 platters and 1000 or so cookies made, has now turned into over 80 platters and this year's count of 4758 cookies from 112 batches.
With a high number of PAX anticipated, YHC put together a course to follow and allow for splitting up into seperate groups. Station #1 started by the pull up bars, and then snaked up through the parking lot, then to Stumptown, traveling down to the roundabout, and then back to the church.

We almost got through the whole thing, but ran short on time. I will make adjustments for next year in order for everyone to complete it. All I know is that my quads are killing me today.
I called everyone in and then called recover recover a munute ealy, even though bagoy was trying to call stuff all the way.
COT
Continuously being greatful to be here and share time with one another, and having the ability to do what we do. Be with everyone this Christmas Season. Help those in need, whether it be through monetary or physical items, or being a shoulder to lean on through hard times. Be with those that have ill family members to bring them back to full health. I continue to be greatful for the brotherhood and friends that F3 has brought.
Be on the lookout for info from bagboy on taking in ideas of what to donate the accumulated funds that F3 Lake Norman has.
I want to thank all of those who made it out this morning. I understand there was another great option of going to BRP to play football with Mr. Burns and Jolly Roger. I can see there are many wise men as they chose to come eat cookies. With the numbers we had I assume Mr. Burns and Jolly just ended up playing with themselves.
I, as well as many other people, look forward to my yearly baking tradition. I am happy to also be able to continue doing this as a yearly F3 tradition.
Once completed I heade to the car, where the M had shown up with coffee, and broke out hte tables and bins of cookies. I also brought rum, congac, and egg nog ( as requested by Duvall and he did;t show up).
2nd F commenced and everyone had a good time. Plates adn plastic wrap were again provided for anyone to take some home to their M and/or 2.0's. I will post on twitter a couple of the pics I have.
Thank you again Blackbeard for letting me run the Jungle. (Not that I had much choice to do so anywhere else) I want to wish everyone a safe and very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Already looking forward to next year's Cookie Q. See you in the gloom!
