YHC's body was sore from 2 Qs already this week, and knowing YHC has the Q at Cauldron on Friday (#complexformula plug), YHC looked for a local running AO to get the heart rate going, fat burning and get another dose of 2nd and 3rd F as well. Well… the calendar was empty for both Ludicrous Speed and Half Life, and no PB was to be found (at least for Ludicrous – can't say I looked for HL). Couldn't not complain publicly, then by group text to who I think may be the "MQ", and yada yada yada – YHC found myself with the Q to an AO I've been to once. How hard could it be to run around in circles though? Turns out – pretty hard.
2 laps warm-o-rama
Some warm-o-rama stretching
Then The Thang:
Fast paced lap, followed by fast slow mosey (not terribly slow walk) for a half lap, then fast full lap, half walking lap, etc. YHC went first to set the pace. Then Turnpike, then Jenny, then Burgoo, then 9-Lives, then YHC again. End with 1 full slow mosey lap to cool down, followed by a kinda brutal Mary.
Ludicrous Moleskine
Enjoyed this today – pushing the pace hurt for a lap at a time, but we were able to banter a bit during each half lap.
The pax have some (good?) advice to YHC during a copule walks re the upcoming M's 50th bday. I may thank you later. I may not.
Enjoyed having each of the pax lead the pace lap. Accountability and variety all around.
Covered just over 3 miles in all.
The Force is OUT.
*shocker*
