AO

6 pax and Boar Dog posted, not knowing that YHC would unleash his Father's Day gift on them…the full deck of F3 exercise cards. We went straight into the deck and managed to get all the way through, except for 1 little card…and I won't hear the end of it for a long time.

The Thang, in summary form

  • Spades: ~400 leg exercises, including: calf raises, bulgarian squats, lunges, squats, and many others.
  • Diamonds: ~325 upper body, include: merkins, chuck norris merkins, ranger merkins, arm circles, carolina dry docks, and many others.
  • Clubs:
    • ~310 ab exercises, including crunches, heels to heaven, flutter kicks etc.
    • 2.5 minutes of plank.
  • Hearts:
    • ~105 exercises, including mtn climbers, squat thrusts, burpees, SSH;
    • 1350 yards of sprints, bear crawls, karaoke, etc. My watch showed 1.4 miles covered

We finished right on time. Yes, i had to look up some of these exercises at F3nation.com/dexicon.

Moleskin:

  1. Following what we teach in Q-school, I excluded the one exercise in the deck that I don't do, the plank jack. Sorry, men.
  2. Metallica emerged from the not so gloomy gloom, without his posse. Apparently they take days off. He was definitely opinionated about the workout…as if he knew how to lead one of these workouts (ref diamon merkins). Put your money where you mouth is, Metallica. Take next week!
  3. Jersey Boy invented the Bulgarian calf raise. He's probably the only person who can do it, but THAT DOESN'T MATTER!
  4. Special Sauce said he was only going to post if we could get in 2.5 miles. Sorry, brother. I failed you.

COT – We closed with the following and talked about our ownership in everything we do:

The Troop Who 'Rode One In'

He called upon the sum of all his knowledge and made a judgment.
He believed in it so strongly that he knowingly bet his life on it.
That he was mistaken in his judgment is a tragedy not stupidity
Every supervisor and contemporary who ever spoke to him had an opportunity to influence his judgment
So, a little bit of all of us goes in with every troop we lose

Coffeteria was well attended with lively discussion…thank you BoarHog. Twas my honor to lead you. Peace.
