The Art of Repeato

Event Date

May 21, 2024

AO

YHC hadnt found anyone to Q and with most of the Viking regulars out of town or on the IR, I thought about converging to avoid a sad clown situation. Ultimately decided to just take the Q and hope for the best and I am glad I did. YHC finished up my standard and arrived back in the parking lot at 5:28 and greeted by PegLeg and Edsel, both of whom are coming back from long periods away.

Typical warmorama of SSH, IST, Toy Solider, Slow windmill, Long Snapper then mosey to the park.

Stop at the upper pavilion picnic tables for round 1 of the following:
Incline merkins, slow squats, dips, step ups, and calf raises

Mosey to the rock pile near the tennis courts and grab a rock for the following:
Curls, skullcrushers, goblet squats, shoulder press, bent over row, chest press, american hammer

Mosey to the lower pavilion for repeato of the above.

Mosey to basketball court for some merkins and WW2s

Mosey back to the rock pile for repeato of rock exercises above.

Mosey back to homebase stopping for mobility. Finish with 6 minutes of Mary. Recover, recover.

Moleskin:
Really good effort this morning and a great morning to get to know both PegLeg and Edsel better. Both are trying to get back out there and better themselves and their fitness. Today is a great example of why we sign up to Q and post in general. If YHC had converged Viking there is a good chance PegLeg or Edsel would have showed up not realizing Viking was converging. You never know who is going to show up for the 100th or first time. So avoid the fartsack and post, you wont regret it.

Also, lets pick of a Q and start to fill the calendar. All it takes is taking 1 Q a month to fill it up and the MQs would greatly appreciate it (feel free to start with Viking). Prayers for kotters and PegLegs mother in law who took a baseball to the knee. A speedy recover. Until next time.
