At 0530, six men headed away from Mighty Jungle for a 4-mile ruck. At 0645, 4 men departed only to be replaced by 6 new faces for a repeato of Mighty Jungle’s mini golf course. Since we started with the front nine in April 2021, we opted to kick things off with the back nine this time around. In the end, we got in 13 holes with more burpees that I had hoped for.
HIGHLIGHT REEL
- Mulligan was poorly named as he rarely need one with some of the best tosses of the day
- Right behind him was Dewey who was stellar on the straightaway along Stumptown Rd
- We were doing just fine with OYO at each hole until 9 Lives had the bright idea that the Q should call cadence
- Titan may not have been the best with the frisbee, but he was at the top of his game on mumblechatter
- Rumor has it that Topgun was EH’d into posting while drinking beer and firing a BB gun (but allegedly not in that order)
- Firestone panicked when the PB went out for fun & games, but I suspect the burpees were enough to win him over in the end
- Ultraman was a great partner and not only for his accuracy, but also for taking both shares at the pull-up bars
- No flags were harmed during our ruck despite solid threats on social media yesterday from Die Hard
- Gnarly Goat had to drop anchor just moments before we arrived back in port #S2K
- Possum appreciated the ruck standard, but then considered hitting BRP for a workout
- Popcorn opted for 4 miles of good livin’ before driving 4 hours for some beach time with the fam
